3. Configuring the Libraries

Importing the EWQLSO House Style

In this chapter in the Guide we are going to connect the EWQLSO library to your score so that all the articulations and playback directions in the score will be played back correctly. For the sake of completion, I show the same process for the Sonivox Complete Symphonic Collection library.

If you would try to assign the EWQLSO instruments to your score right now, using the “Add or Remove Instruments” dialogue, you will see that this sound library isn’t available. This is because you need to import the house style first which was specially written for this sound library. This way the sound library and the score can communicate with each other.

The house style for EWQLSO Gold is not by default installed in Sibelius and need to be purchased separately here: EWQLSO Gold.

The house style for the  Sonivox Complete Symphonic Collection can be found here:  Sonivox Complete Symphonic Collection.

After the installation of the house styles, they will show up in the Import House Style dialogue in Sibelius and will you be able to assign them to your score:

Now assigning the EWQLSO instruments to your score is easy!
